Roosevelt Boles

Minister Roosevelt Boles, Jr. was born in Mount Vernon, New York. His family, later relocated to Hampton, South Carolina where he lived for over 20 years. At a very young age, Minister Boles demonstrated an insatiable appetite for ministry. In 1994, he was ordained a minister under the Mount Calvary Holy Churches of America. At that time, he was under the leadership of Pastor D.L. Russell, Jr. of St. Helena Island, South Carolina. In that ministry, he served in the following offices: Pastor's Armor Bearer, AST's Youth Minister, Praise & Worship Leader, Choir Member and financial board. Minister Boles has been blessed with the gift of song and he has made it his mission to spread the gospel with that gift.

In 1992, he initiated the group Trinity and they became a well know gospel group. They ministered in many different venues and performed for many different audiences. Minister Boles later discovered his love for evangelizing / outreach ministry. This love propelled him down various avenues. In particular: extensive counseling at various Prisons, feeding the needy at Homeless Shelters and testing at local HIV AIDS centers. Minister Boles has taken the time to understand the purpose for his ministry and he takes it very seriously.

He walks in the office of a prophet, which has served as enhancement to his ministry. He believes in capitalizing on every opportunity that God offers and he loves God's people. His creed is "ONLY WHAT YOU DO FOR CHRIST WILL LAST" and he believes in working while its day.

In 2001, Minister Boles stepped out on faith and relocated to Atlanta, GA. At the core of his move, he felt that God had numerous doors awaiting him. Since relocating, Minister Boles's ministry has reached a worldwide platform. He has traveled extensively ministering in Psalm combined with the prophetic. In October of 2005, God placed Roosevelt under the leadership of Pastor Keith Young, Sr. of VISIONS FOR SOULS FAMILY WORSHIP CENTER in Mableton, Georgia. Under Christopher's lebel, STARRTRAXX PRODUCTIONS, Minister Boles completed his first album. The album was entitled "Hallelujah Thank You Jesus" and it allowed him space to pay homage to his late mother. After its release, Minister Boles was selected by Silver Dollar productions to be in play opposite Rueben Studdard and Jonny Gill. Along with that Toronto Gospel, a legendary site for international music, highlighted his album for more than six months.

Minister Boles was recently featured on the Word Network and recognized as the NEW ARTIST at DR. BOBBY JONES 21st BI-Annual Gospel Retreat. During this event, Minister Boles shared the stage with legendary greats such as: Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Kim Burrell, Tye Tribett, Dorinda Clark-Cole, J.Moss, Beverly Crawford, Albertina Walker, Byron Cage, Dottie Peoples, Ricky Dillard, Leonard Scott, Shirley Murdock, Melvin Williams and Ambassadoe Dr. Bobby Jones and a host of other gospel matriarchs. He was also asked to participate in a tribute to honor his idol, Vanessa Bell Armstrong.

On June of 2009, Minister Boles released his sophomore project titles "Mirror, Mirror". The album was a testament of his self journey and it featured Latocha Scott from the female pop group XSCAPE. This album in particular, has already began to tale Minister Boles in a new direction. After its release, the title track "MIRRO, MIRROR" aired on 97.5FM Atlanta's largest Gospel radio station. The track caught the attention of radio personality, Coco Brutha, and he featured it on his radio Show. He placed the track in his shows music competition and it won three consecutive nights. Impressed by the track's mass appeal, Coco Brutha has become an advent supporter of Minister Boles music. Having been encouraged by both Dr. Bobby Jones and Coco Brutha, Minister Boles fights to maintain that standard of Excellence that he is increasingly becoming known for. This project has also birthed a desire to mentor and cultivate the talent of others. While traveling, Minister Boles acquired a group of talented back-up singers. These singers, have evolved into the group "GRACE" and they are now under his tutelage. Grace has helped to catapult Minister Boles into a new realm and they are now beginning to work on their first album.

Minister Boles has endured much heartache throughout the duration of his career. He believes that these heartaches are designed to strengthen his character. His desire is to not only enhance the gospel music industry but to also educate upcoming artist. He continues to empower the people of God with his various gifts and talents.
